Workfront: Quote-to-Cash Automation
Monday, April 24, 6:10–7 p.m.
Location: Booth #801
A provider of cloud-based enterprise work management software, Utah-based Workfront uses the Boomi integration platform to automate data sharing between NetSuite and Salesforce. Workfront’s efforts have streamlined its quote-to-cash processes and dramatically improved how it handles customer provisioning, licensing and consulting.
With Boomi in place, three Workfront employees process up to 600 orders a month and capture 100 data points — a huge improvement over the 75 to 100 orders a month and four or five data points previously possible.
Moreover, configuring integrations in Boomi is far faster and more scalable than Workfront’s previous custom-scripting approach. That’s helped Workfront rapidly extend Boomi to integrate NetSuite with SAP Concur expense management and Ultimate Software UltiPro for HR.
“Because of Boomi’s flexibility, someone with a non-technical background can make changes to our integrations on the fly,” said William Jolley, a manager for Workfront’s corporate information systems. “With Boomi, we’ve been able to automate a lot of our customer-facing processes.”
Candy.com: EDI-to-NetSuite Integration
Wednesday, April 26, 11 a.m.–noon
Location: Please check the conference guide.
Launched in 2009, Candy.com has expanded from a direct-to-consumer retail model into B2B sales, now 90 percent of its business. That meant Candy.com needed electronic data interchange (EDI) to handle transactions with trading partners.
Manual EDI transactions couldn’t scale with growing business volume, and third-party EDI service providers were slow, costly and inflexible. Candy.com brought its EDI system in house — using Boomi to connect EDI with NetSuite, used for order, inventory, and financial management.
Since then, partner onboarding time has plunged from six months to just five days, with Boomi dependably processing millions of EDI transactions. Candy.com has improved operational efficiency by eliminating the need for custom coding, ongoing maintenance, and manual order management.
“We rely on Boomi for our EDI-to-NetSuite integration because it is a high-productivity platform that’s easy to use, highly reliable, and endlessly scalable,” said Gary Cifatte, the chief technology officer at Candy.com. “With application integration so painlessly taken care of, we are able to stay focused on accelerating business not solving business process automation challenges.”
Lucky Brand: Omni-channel Retail
Tuesday, April 25, 4:15–5:15 p.m.
Location: Please check the conference guide.
Lucky Brand, a leading designer and manufacturer of premium denim jeans and other apparel, has transformed itself into an omni-channel retailer with Boomi supplying the integration core across NetSuite and best-of-breed systems.
The Boomi cloud-based integration platform helped Lucky tie together a state-of-the-art ecommerce platform, in-store point-of-sale systems, and NetSuite-based inventory and warehouse applications to create an experience that supports customers in any location.
Lucky, headquartered in Vernon, Calif., has been able to build customer loyalty with a seamless, consistent experience regardless of touchpoint. And Boomi has helped bring needed agility to Lucky. The company had to adapt rapidly when a private equity firm acquired the company in early 2014, prompting Lucky’s move to NetSuite and a new IT environment.
